ENRIQUE SALVATIERRA

Born in Argentina in the city of Tucumán on December 29, 1948, Enrique Salvatierra studied at Santa María di Catamarca at the Colegio Nacional de Salta where he met Dr. “Cuchi” Leguizamón, professor of philosophy and literature. In 1967 he visited the city of Buenos Aires for the first time and began traveling to Latin America, Europe and Africa mixing with painters, musicians and poets, feeling attracted by all the artistic forms of every latitude and time span. 30 years ago he began to build his own studio-house in Santa María in the province of Catamarca in the Valles Calchaquíes, where he currently lives and works. Salvatierra created the illustration for the wine bottle labels for the Albarossa winery and also various artwork and furniture for the Finca.
